GSRTC at a Glance
GSRTC operates 125 depots, 16 divisions, and a Central Office / Central Workshop, running about 8,229 buses serving 27 lakh daily passengers across 99.34% of Gujarat's villages.
Fleet Rejuvenation
GSRTC inducted 12,812 new buses over ten years with Rs 3,839.63 Cr in government support, introducing sleeper, AC, and luxury coaches. Over-aged buses fell from 74.75% (2006-07) to 22.80% (2024-25).
Efficiency Improvements (since 2021-22)
